This is your meal.
…scientists claim adding insects to our diet would be good for us and the environment.
Crunching into crickets or snacking on grilled caterpillar is apparently a means to a nutrient-rich diet that also helps reduce pests and puts less strain on the planet than eating conventional meat.
Good luck with that, guys. It’s hard enough for me to eat carrots. Actually, I don’t eat carrots. I will also not be eating grilled caterpillars.
At least the Brits have a sense of humor about it, as usual…
In most of Europe, bug-eating is largely restricted to the belated realisation that there has been an unwelcome addition to the salad.
So evidently doing our part to help the environment is not just restricted to buying hybrids, installing solar panels, keeping the air conditioning no lower than 75, and recycling our fecal matter (okay, so maybe that one was made up).
Now we’re expected to eat bugs. Good luck with that.
