Senior Shoot: Christopher Calhoun

I had the privilege of shooting Christopher’s senior portraits this last weekend in Texarkana, Texas. It was a bit of a drive, but we had a great time.

We avoided calamity in the form of a crazy man with a Moses cane, climbed into structurally-unstable barns, and generally romped all around Texarkana. Thanks so much for trusting me with your portraits, Chris!

    Dude. You seriously rock.

Come a little farther into Texas sometime – I’d love to shoot with you.

    Very much appreciated, man.

I’d love to shoot with you one day. You could teach me lighting concepts galore. I’m a lighting doofus.

Plus, I wanted to use the word “doofus.”

    Ryan,

Now that I’m done looking at all Chris’ pics, you definetly rock.

    Nice work, clean, sharp.

About your blog – Humiliation. A good rule of practice is to take all text into In Design or Word and spell check first, then copy and paste…before playing with typography in Photoshop. Even so, some are missed but it usually hits the major ones.

    Again, very nice work.

    Hey, thank you very much.

That was the problem with the “photoraphy” incident…the Ryan Austin Dean Photography header was done in Photoshop, which doesn’t have auto spell-checker. The layout program I was using does, which is why there weren’t any problems on the rest of the site.

Even Safari has spell-check. At the very moment, I’m looking at the red line underneath where I deliberately spelled “photoraphy” in the first sentence of the last paragraph.
