Happy New Year

It is currently 1:44 AM, and there are still plenty of morons in my neighborhood who are popping fireworks.

It’s way past midnight people. Welcome to 2008. Now go to bed. Now here’s a little trivia for you.

Shari and I spent this New Year’s Eve…

A. With family, eating dinner and lounging around.

B. With friends at a New Year’s party, laughing it up until the countdown at midnight.

C. Together at home, with Apple asleep between us, watching C.S.I. DVDs and trying to figure out how to get rid of my day-long headache.

Obviously the answer is C. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have gone through the pointless trivia game. That’s okay though; neither one of us are that into New Year’s. Ever since the whole Y2K thing, I’ve tended to believe they’re going to be a lot less exciting than people always anticipate.

    Hey Ryan,

We did the same thing basically… New Year’s Eve changes big time when you have a little bambino at home!

Oh, wow…looks like we’re going to go out even less when that day comes for us.

  3. My fiance and I got to hang with Derek and Leisha and another couple downtown. Dinner at Cafe Pontablo, fireworks in front of Jackson Square, and dessert at Cafe du Monde….oh and a special “almost” brush with fame when former Dallas coach Jimmy Johnson walked past our car.

    And Hawaiians EVERYWHERE!!
