Her First Autumn

So I think that today actually resembled the beginning of the Louisiana autumn. I’m not entirely sure if that’s even what you’d call it, but today looked and felt like an actual November fall day. As you can see from the picture, Apple was enjoying sitting around in the leaves.

Louisiana doesn’t really have a fall; at least not like anything north of here does. We have 100 degree temperatures until around mid-to-late November, then it drops to about 40 degrees that feels like 8 degrees because of the humidity. It feels so much worse; a bitter, stinging cold, if you will.

I get all happy about it being 67 degrees. You can tell I don’t really know what cold weather is.

To say nothing of the fact that it will be 76 by Sunday.
