Hey there,Thanks so much for visiting my blog. I’m not going to go too in depth with this, but I’m just going to share a few tidbits about myself really quickly.

Spouse: My beautiful wife, Shari. She’s my pride and joy (a little SRV reference for ya).
Hobbies and Interests: I’m attempting every day to live my life to the One who is responsible for everything good in my life: Jesus Christ. He has given me a wonderful wife, an amazing family, a great church to be a part of and work for, and more blessings than I could ever begin to list. I love my youth group; they have the ability to bring out every possible emotion from me, but a concern for the roller coaster lives they live is a burden that I feel God’s put on me, and I hope to never lose it. I believe in their endless potential, and I believe God is going to touch the next generation with the same young people that some have written off.
I’m an undercover geek out of necessity; when I was younger, I realized that I would be picked on mercilessly if I let my inner geek out too often, so I waited until I got home to bust out the Star Trek tapes and read the countless books that removed me from real life and allowed me to duck into my fortress of solitude. Nowadays, I ride around with an Apple sticker on the back of my car and the inner geek isn’t so “inner” anymore. I love Apple computers, soccer, golf, football, music, reading (especially biographies), writing, Wii, and spending time with my family.
My main side interest these days is amateur photography, and I can’t get enough of it. I love it.
I currently shoot with a Canon XTi, the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens (bleh…), and my EF 85mm f/1.8 (which I love).
In the horizon: the wide-angle 17-40 f/4L and 70-200 f/4L IS telephoto. When that happens remains to be seen…
