While reading through this story on FOX News, I found the following photo.
That boy can’t be much older than my nephew, Lincoln.
I’ll leave the commentary out of it, but this photo put me in a mellow state this morning.
Jonah and Melissa: you’re hockin’ incredible. You guys are probably more responsible for inflating my stupid ego more than anyone else in this world.
I can’t tell you how much of a pleasure it was working for you guys. I’m wrapping up the wedding set right now, so that should be blogged here within another week. I just wanted to share Melissa’s bridals on the blog beforehand.
Thank you guys!
I know this one’s already in here, but I loved the B&W version (predictably):
I’m finally blogging Ashley’s bridals! Ashley and Chris were great to work with; they’re both great laid-back types who smile and joked enough to make you feel at home. It was a pleasure shooting your pictures, guys!
Their wedding pictures will be blogged very soon as well (I’ve got a bit more work on some photos to finish up).
Note: for those watching, I had previously been using my logo-free frames for pictures on Flickr and the blogs. For whatever reason I was using the wrong templates, so I’ve gone back to using the business frame for all business-related images.
Also, for you Apple fans out there…another funny image that I saw someone else post for you:
Do you feel the tugging of a slowed economy dragging you down? Have you spent conservatively this Christmas season out of fear for what might happen in the next few months? Are you terrified of a modern Great Depression?
“Not us,” says the United States Congress!
A crumbling economy, more than 2 million constituents who have lost their jobs this year, and congressional demands of CEOs to work for free did not convince lawmakers to freeze their own pay.
Instead, they will get a $4,700 pay increase, amounting to an additional $2.5 million that taxpayers will spend on congressional salaries, and watchdog groups are not happy about it.
Merry Christmas, America. While you struggle, our wonderful government is not only adding to our tax burden with bailouts that we have no idea how we’re going to pay for, but also giving themselves a nice $4,700 raise.
This is why I hate the government.
Yep…my ‘Boys have still got it. From ESPN:
The Dallas Cowboys’ victory over the New York Giants drew the most viewers ever for a “Sunday Night Football” game.
The Cowboys’ 20-8 win Sunday on NBC attracted 23.1 million viewers, the network said Tuesday.
The game earned a 13.7 rating and 21 share to make it the third-highest rated “Sunday Night Football” game; there are more potential viewers now, so even a lower rating can mean a record audience.
The rating is the percentage watching a program among homes with televisions. The share is the percentage tuned into the broadcast among those households with TVs on at the time.
They’re still America’s team, and they’re still in the race for the playoffs this year, baby!
